A personal journey
The Family & Elder Care Resource Directory began with a deeply personal experience. In 2023, after my parents were in a near-fatal car accident in Central Iowa, I found myself overwhelmed and unprepared to navigate the complexities of elder care. As an only child, I struggled to find easy-to-use resources all by myself as I was thrown into the world of caring for my parents. This directory is born from that need - a heartfelt hub designed to support others facing similar challenges.
Supporting the Sandwich Generation
We aim to reach adults, like myself, who are balancing the demands of raising children, caring for aging parents, and striving to achieve financial stability. We understand the worries and challenges you face, from managing full-time jobs to seeking other income opportunities to putting your children through college, all while ensuring your loved ones receive the care they deserve.
Our Mission
Our primary goal is to alleviate the burdens families face during times of crisis. We strive to provide comprehensive support, opening doors for meaningful conversations with parents, spouses, and children. We aim to foster a community where individuals feel understood and empowered to navigate the complexities of family and elder care.
